AACR 2022: Humanized IL36R Mice Provide a Preclinical Tool for the Evaluation of Therapeutic Drugs Targeting IL36R
Conclusions
- We have generated a humanized mouse model expressing IL36R in place of the murine counterpart.
- mRNA and protein expression of human IL36R indicates successful generation of the humanized model.
- Humanization of IL36R does not change the overall development, differentiation or distribution of immune cell types in spleen, lymph node and blood.
- The anti-IL36R antibody Spesolimab analog reduced psoriasis-like skin lesions in B-hIL36R mice, indicating that B-hIL36R mice provide a powerful model for in vivo evaluation of anti-human IL36R antibodies.
